What are some dog names that arent common?

i just got a new puppy, but i cant think of a name for him. i dont want a name thats common...thats just boring. he is a male beagle mix.

My dog's names are Lil Cuz, Gracie, Scrappy, Baby, Little Deaf One, Candy, Nick, Jake, and Biscuit.





Other dogs that I've had are Gravy, Cheese, Daisy, Checker, Demon, Jessie, and Otto.

Reply:here is a wed site that has very uncommon dog names but i warn you pick a name with two syllable or less because the longer the name the more difficult it is for you dog to understand that's it's name and harder for you to call your dog.

Reply:I have used the thesaurus and found a couple of names that way --once when I was getting a Brussels Griffon who would weigh about 6 pounds full grown -- so I looked up synonyms for small or tiny and found Emmett which in olden days was used for small or ant. That worked for me.





For instance if you type in Patch (as in spotted) -- you get Fleck and if you type in Sniff (something that pops in my head for Beagles) you get Snuff and Whiff.





There are also books at the library with name suggestions for dogs.


I also have to see my new pups -- then a name often just comes to me, Good luck!
