Do you think these names are common ?

I want to call my twin girls Erin mia and Erica mae. I don't know anyone with these names, i live in the uk and dont come across many people with these names, but I just wondered if they were common anywhere, i dont want my children to have the same names as every other child when they reach school .

Do you think these names are common ?
Nothing wrong with the names on their own... just NEVER, EVER, EVER name twins them. They MATCH. It's absolutely HORRIBLE to give twins matching names, they will HATE you for it and get teased MERCILESSLY throughout their whole school life. Don't do it. Please, please, PLEASE don't do it.
Reply:I have never met anyone with these names in the UK, live here too lol.

Erica is my cousins name she lives in Belize, but i think they're both pretty uncommon.

Oh wait my teacher named her baby a couple of years ago,i forgot about that woops.

:)
Reply:Erin is pretty common, as is Mia, and Mae is a common filler name. I don't think Erica is common, though.

How about Ellen Maia and Erica Maren?
Reply:Erin was the 27th most popular girl's name in the UK in 2007, so pretty popular. Erica was not in the top 100.

If you like them, go for it though.
Reply:they're not common i only know one erica and i don't know an erin. i wouldnt advise having the same initials for the twins. you want to make them feel individual. lovely names though. xx
Reply:Erin and Erica aren't the wierdest of names that you'll never encounter them, but not so popular that they'll be 2 or 3 in each class. Go for it.
Reply:I'm from the UK and I used to work in a toyshop and I only ever came across one Erica and never came across an Erin

I love Erica it's one of my favourite names

Good luck with your twin girls :-)
Reply:I live in NYC and to me these names are not too common. I think they are regular names that haven't been too popular/common ever. I would go ahead with it.
Reply:I know a couple of Erins, but they both spell their names differently - theres Eryn and Erine. The names you have chosen are gorgeous.
Reply:I live in the uk and the only one ive heard of is Erin I know 3 people with this name but they are all in their 20s.
Reply:I know two Erin's in my grade, maybe three Erica's. They're not extremely common.

Maybe just add a unique twist like Erinn or Erika.
Reply:i live in the US and i know a few Erica/Erikas, and one girl Erin, no two but they arent very common
Reply:I live in the UK to,but no i don't think they are common names.

Reply:I know one girl with he name Erin but her mn is different. I think those names are beautiful and not common.
