Why do the Hungarians and the Turkish have many names in common with the Mongolians?

I don麓t understand, because Hun-garians are catholic christians, and Turks are muslims... (Mongols are buddist)

but, I was searching about names to babies in Hungarian, Turkish and Mongolia... and I could see than Hungarians and Turkish have many names in common

but, why?

;)

You have put your finger on an age-old mystery. Another one is where do flies go in the wintertime?
Reply:maybe they have a similar language root, if you go far enough back in history
Reply:Genghis Khan's empire streched that far.
Reply:Hungarian is an Uralic language while Turkish is an Altaic one, but the similarities between the 2 languages exist, especially in writing and in pronunciation...this is why some people think that the Uralic Family and the Altaic one have the same origin, somewhere in Central Asia or or the Ural Mountains...
Reply:nope! you are dead wrong... i don't know where you did your search but your conclusion is absolutely irrelevant. hungarians, turks and mongolians have very few common names.

about 95% of turkish names ar of either arabic or persian origin.

i'm 45 years old, and live in turkey, i do not recognize any common names in these three languages.
