People answering my questionos seem to diss common names and then when i put good dfferent one's on, they hate?

if you put Josh or Ryan, there all over you with that's too common


but then


if i put good different names like Keegan, Cormick, Lorelai, they all say those are really weird

josh and ryan are nice those so called different names are UGLY, come up with some better different names
Reply:I love both common and uncommon names, as long as the uncommon names aren't made up. Keegan and Lorelai are cute, but I fear Cormick would get made fun of in school. Josh and Ryan are great names as well, strong and classic.





For instance my favorite names, Elisabeth, Emma, Kate, Claire, Wesley, Lucas, and Connor, which are all pretty common





But I also like, Wyatt, Seth, Dorian, Talon, Lennox, Carlin, Harlan, Norah, Ainsley, Keeley, and Taryn.





My advice is if you're going to ask people's opinions on here, don't take it to heart. If you like the name, then go for it because it doesn't really matter what these people think...only what you think!

keegan is a really cool name too. i personally like cole...its a little different. one of my other favorites is lowell. i just think it sounds cool!!
Reply:Really, in my opinion it doesn't matter what other people think, as long as you know what you are naming your child and you like it thats all that matters.

Reply:you'll get that with any name you put up. keegan is cute, i also know a guy named teagan, braedon anda girl named Loraleigh. I think they're really good names

Reply:Josh and Ryan are common, but I love them. I like Keegan and Cormick though. But, not Lorelai. :)

Reply:Hi David Cook. I have this problem all the time. People are very rude about names with which they are unfamiliar. Every time I post a beloved name that's been in our family for generations I get the rudest, most hateful comments!
