My friend loves common names? She has ones that are kinda common?

2 of my friends are pregnant. My unique friend decided on Maybella Violet. My common friend likes these 2 names. Which one do you like?

Out of those two, I think Abigail is the more common one. I really like Abigail and I love the nickname Abbie!

Kaya Nicole is OK but Kaya will not wear as well as Abigail.


It's cute now but will be out-of-fashion when she's grown.


I doubt it has staying power.


It isn't a strong name just a cutesy kid name.





Maybella Violet: as I said in an earlier posting, Maybella sounds like the name of a goat on "The Beverly Hillbillies". Other people said it sounded like Maybelline cosmetics.


Yeah, it's yoo-neek but not attractive and will not do credit to an adult.

Kaya isn't common, i haven't heard it much, apart from on me :)


My name is pronounced Kai-ya, the i said like 'eye'. But i write it Kaia.

I prefer Kaya Nicole, but abigail lauren is very pretty too.


Maybella Violet- It's ok, but Maybella would be shortened to May or Bella, Bella sounds nicer, but if it's shortened to May, and the middle name is violet, they could get teased, my friends name is may rose, and people used to call My rose, My rose after her. Childish and odd, but still.

Kaya Nicole - This is such a nice name, Kaya isn't common atall it's lovely :) Nicole is really nice too!


Abigail Lauren - Less keen on this, I know 5 Abigail's and 3 Lauren's, it doesn't stand out as much either.

Reply:Abigail Lauren. Because Kaya is a traditional Malay/Nyonya paste which is made of coconut milk + sugar and pandan flavour. I put it on my toast for breakfast. It's delicious, but I personally would not call my child after it. If your friend does want the name so much, I would spell it Kaia.
