Who is annoyed with common baby names?

I like names that mean something who agrees?

Who is annoyed with common baby names?
I kind of agree with you. I hate HATE H.A.T.E. really popular and common names like Kyleigh, Ashleigh, Lynn, and stuff like that. But I do like some common names like Rose for example. I like most of the names on your list (especially Iris, Charlotte, Lucia, Ruby and Eden!), except from Adele, (never liked that name), Vanna, (sounds like delivery van), Ezra and Etrogen (hydrogen, oxygen, etc).

Reply:I like Lucia. Lucia is actually a much older name than these others. Same with Charlotte, though I personally don't think I'd use it.





The rest, I don't so much, since they don't really have a history to them, they are way over-used right now, and are a bit gaudy (Ruby, Milla, Ariah, Phineas, etc)





Is Etrogen really a name? It reminds me of Estrogen :( Not fond of Isla either. I also say it EE-slah in my head, which it's not pretty, though "eye-lah" is too pretty either.
Reply:you probably wouldnt like my daughters name, its going to be Kaleigh Nicole and her last name, some of those names you mentioned are really cute. My aunt is a nurse in labor and delivery and this lady named her daughter Shithade, pronounced I guess she said Shi-Tade, my aunts like your gonna name your daughter sh*thead and the ladies like no it Shi-Tade...I thought this was so funny, I mean there is a thing of having a less common name but wow!!!!
Reply:I wouldn't name my daughter Brittany or Ashley, but I don't like out there names either. The thing is, unless you name your kid God'iss Love or something like that there will be someone else out there with the same name. You don't want to be so unique that your kid will be tortured at school. For example, Etrogen. I mean seriosly, might as well put that S in there and call her Estrogen. Not a good idea.
Reply:so name your kid that its you decission but always remember these kids are going to be members of society one day so always keep that in mind before you name your child a name says alot about a person yes different is good and not knocking any of the names you listed some I do find quite nice in fact but I've seen some ridiculous name people asking they were nice and getting all offended when people say no Just stay uncommon if you'd like but don't go off the wall like naming the poor kid Star Moon Sun Aquamarine%26lt;%26lt; which I saw someone ask once poor kid will grown up to be a stripper or porn-star

If you have a plain name, than you will be a plain, plain person....out of your names, I like Thalia..not something unheard of, yet, less commonly used
